ASBURY PARK — Wearing a black T-shirt, denim pants and dark sunglasses, Michael Brett of Roosevelt strummed his acoustic guitar as he sang “I’m always dressed in plain clothes. . . . I’m taking all my secrets with me to the grave” to an immediate audience of three lounging on white wooden deck chairs at the north end green space along Asbury Park’s boardwalk Sunday afternoon.
